Adopting From pepper's pals rescue

1. Find a pup

Check out our "Adoptables" page on our website to see all available dogs up for adoption. Click on the photo and read more info about each dog.

2. Read this page

Make sure you read through this page in its entirety, including the FAQs at the bottom. You should have a complete understanding of the process and what to expect.

3. Fill out a form

When you find a dog you are interested in, fill out the Adoption Application with as much detail as possible. The more thorough you are, the better we can assess if the dog you chose is a compatible match.

4. have phone consult

Within 72 hours of receiving your form, our Adoption Coordinator will reach out to you. This is an opportunity for everyone to ask questions and talk about what kind of dog would be the best fit for your home and lifestyle.

5. schedule meet and greet

If everything seems like it'd be a good fit, we can then schedule a time for you to meet one of our adoptable dogs. Our meet & greets take place at the foster's house or yours, or at a public venue.

6. happily ever after

Found the perfect companion? Congratulations on your fur-ever friend! We're here to offer lifetime support, insight, and recommendations no matter where life takes you and your pup.

not ready to adopt?

Fostering a dog means that you can give it a second chance in life while freeing up space and resources in shelters to help other pups in need. Our fosters are the lifeblood of this organization and make for a strong, supportive community.
If you're not ready or unable to commit to bringing home a pup, you can still support us! Your donation can mean life-saving medication for our medical-needs dogs, rehabilitative training for our behavioral-needs dogs, and so much more!
